Key Dates on Budget Calendar for the Fiscal Year 2026
- May 6, 2025: Proposed budget submitted to the Board of Commissioners (included in agenda package) and budget workshop #1. Additionally, the proposed budget will also be available in the County Administration Building and on the County’s website.
- May 13, 20, & 27, 2025: Budget workshops #2, #3, and #4 conducted with the Board of Commissioners and county staff to discuss the proposed budget.
- June 3, 2025: First Budget public hearing to obtain citizen comments (during commission meeting).
- June 17, 2025: Second Budget public hearing and adoption of the budget resolution (during commission meeting).
- July 1, 2025: FY 2025-26 budget in effect through June 30, 2026.
