Harris County is part of a regional housing study that will analyze the current housing landscape, forecast future workforce needs, and gather public input. The housing needs assessment was commissioned by the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley and is being conducted by Georgia Tech’s Center for Economic Development Research (CEDR). The eight-county study includes Harris, Muscogee, Talbot, Chattahoochee, Marion and Stewart counties in Georgia, and Russell and Lee in Alabama.
