BID REQUEST – WATER LINE EXTENSION

Harris County will accept sealed bids for Green Drive Water Line Extension until 1:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Harris County Commissioners’ Office, 104 North College Street, Hamilton, GA 31811, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.  Bids are to be sent to the attention of County Clerk and submitted with 2 copies.  Bids received after said time and date will not be considered. Contractor must furnish the labor and materials necessary to install +2,000 L.F. of 6” PVC water main with all associated valves, hydrants, fittings, services, and other appurtenances.  Time allotted for completion of work is 30 consecutive calendar days (once all materials have been delivered).  All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.  The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.  Plans, Specifications & Contract Documents must be obtained from Carter & Sloope, Inc., 115 Woodland Way, Suite 120, Canton, GA 30114; phone 770-479-8782; fax 770-479-1884, upon payment of $100.00 (non-refundable).  Bids will not be considered by the County unless bidder is on record with Carter & Sloope as having purchased and received complete bid documents.  Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.  Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
