Clerk of Superior Court

The Clerk of Superior Court is a constitutional officer and is elected by the voters for four-year terms. This office records various real estate transactions such as warranty, right-of-way, and quit-claim deeds, records various liens including mechanic liens and property tax liens, and collects child support payments. This office also files criminal court cases and civil cases, issues notary appointments, manages juries, assists the public with obtaining various court records, and provides administrative support to the Board of Equalization.
