Bid Request – Water Line Materials

BID REQUEST: Harris County, Georgia, is accepting bids for various water line materials to include PVC pipe, sleeves, tracer wire, valves, tees, caps, gaskets, and other materials for a water line project. Bid documents, to include bid forms that must be used to submit a bid, can be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael via email at nmcmichael@harriscountyga.gov using the subject line “water line materials”. All materials must meet the specifications of the Harris County Water Works, and materials must be delivered by January 16, 2020. Bids, in a sealed envelope, must bear the notation “BID: WATER MATERIALS”, must be mailed or delivered to the attention of the County Clerk at Harris County Commissioners, 104 North College Street, PO Box 365, Hamilton, GA 31811-0356, and must be received by 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bid arrives at the proper location by the time and date indicated. Facsimile, e-mail, telephone and/or late bids will not be accepted or considered. While the Count anticipates award to the lowest reliable bidder, it also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and to solicit and re-advertise for new bids.
