The Board of County Commissioners approved resurfacing, restriping, and patching various county roads during their March 2, 2021 commission meeting. Those road improvements are:

- Daniel’s Court from Janee’s Way to the cul-de-sac, 0.15 miles.
- Williams Court from Janee’s Way to the cul-de-sac, 0.10 miles.
- Kristi Lynn’s Way from Central Church Road to Central Church Road, 0.90 miles.
- Kristi Lynn’s Court from Kristi Lynn’s Way to the cul-de-sac, 0.15 miles.
- Grey Smoke Trail from past Gunstock Dr near mailbox 2 to the cul-de-sac, 1.20 miles.
- Grey Smoke Loop from Grey Smoke Trail to just before mailbox 2 on Grey Smoke Trail, 1.00 miles.
- Harrisville Road from Lickskillet Road to the dead-end, 1.70 miles.
- Lewis Bryant Road from Butts Mill Road to SR 18, 1.80 miles.
C.W. Matthews Contracting of Marietta, Georgia was the lowest bidder at $953,023.03. Funding for these road resurfacing projects will come from the county’s annual LMIG allocation from the state of $734,779,04, $100,000 from SPLOST-2014, and $118,243.99 from TSPLOST.

Piedmont Paving of Newnan, Georgia was the most responsive bidder at $42,393.00. Funding for these road patching projects will come from SPLOST-2014.
Construction of all these road improvements is scheduled to begin during April and be completed by
