Harris County, GA, is accepting sealed bids for the Dam Renovation Plans of Melody Lakes Dam until 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at the Harris County Board of Commissioners’ Office, 104 North College Street, Hamilton, GA 31811, to the attention of County Clerk, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 1:00 PM, at the Harris County Board of Commissioners’ Office. Pre-qualification may be required of bidders prior to the award of contract. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.
Scope of Work is to furnish the labor and materials to provide dam improvements for Melody Lakes Dam in Waverly Hall (32.697480̊, -84.717230̊) and includes providing materials and construction equipment to complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days.
