HARRIS COUNTY VICE-CHAIRWOMAN SUSAN ANDREWS TO SERVE AS ACCG THIRD VICE PRESIDENT
ATLANTA, Ga., (May 1, 2025) – Harris County Vice-Chairwoman Susan Andrews was recently elected to serve as Third Vice President on the 2025 – 2026 Board of Managers for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG). Andrews was sworn in by Rodney Bullard, CEO of The Same House, during the Installation and Awards Luncheon at this year’s ACCG Annual Conference in Chatham County.
“We are excited to welcome our newly installed Board of Managers, a group of dedicated leaders chosen by their peers to guide our organization,” said Executive Director Dave Wills. “Their commitment and expertise will be invaluable as we work together to advance the interests of Georgia’s counties.”
As ACCG Third Vice President and member of the Executive Committee, Andrews will work alongside other Board members to lead the Association and guide policies over the next year. She will work in concert with other Board members to lead the Association and guide policies over the next year. The Board of Managers will continue to work on initiatives which focus on increasing county efficiencies, enhancing continuing education offerings and fostering strong relationships between counties, the state, and federal government.
“Harris County has a legacy of leadership in ACCG beginning with former Commissioner Charles Knowles serving as President and most recently, former Commissioner Harry Lange serving as President in 2018-2019. It is my honor to continue this legacy of service for our County and for the State of Georgia,” said Harris County Vice-Chairwoman Susan Andrews.
