Harris County government and the Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony for phase VI of the Man O’ War Trail on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. The 10 foot wide asphalt trail is now 13.5 miles long beginning at the Meriwether County line to the north and ending at Mulberry Creek to the south. The trail has numerous trail heads with free parking and informational kiosks with updated trail maps showing mile markers, elevations, and trail rules. The trail also has park benches, trash cans, and doggy clean-up stations along the way. Take a walk, stroll, or bicycle ride on the trail.
