The Animal Control Department has received two new vehicles to replace their sole 2000 Ford F-150 pick-up truck. The two new vehicles are 2018 Ford F-150 super cab trucks with commercially made animal control boxes. Each vehicle cost $34,000 ($26,000 for the truck and $8,000 for the animal control box) and were funded by general property taxes. The two trucks are currently in operation and will increase the productivity of the two-person department.
