Harris County is accepting proposals from qualified consultants located in Georgia for the update of its Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP), which expires January 7, 2021, to meet federal, state and local requirements. The RFP documents may be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael , County Clerk , via email at nmcmichael@harriscountyga.gov with the subject line “HMP Update”. Responses, consisting of one (1) original and two (2) photocopied sets of all originals, must be in a sealed envelope marked “RFP: HMP Update”, be addressed to the attention of County Clerk, and be received at the office of the Harris County Commissioners, PO Box 365, 104 North College Street, Hamilton, GA 31811-0365 by 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at which time only the names of the responders will be publicly read aloud. It is the responsibility of the responder to ensure that their response arrives at the proper location by the date and time indicated. Facsimile, email, telephone or late responses will not be accepted or considered. Responses received after the established deadline will be returned unopened to the responder. Harris County reserves the right to reject any or all responses. Note that some express mail and delivery services do not guarantee overnight delivery to Harris County.
