Please take all storm debris to the Harris County Transfer Station located at 4070 Barnes Mill Road in Hamilton, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for no charge for Harris County and city residents. Please do not pile storm debris on the right-of-way. The county does not pick up storm debris and storm debris is not accepted at any of the convenience sites. All property owners are responsible for their own storm debris and its removal. For more information, call the Transfer Station at 706-582-2982.
If you want to burn your debris, contact the Georgia Forestry Commission to acquire a burn permit at 1-877-652-2876 or their website at www.gfc.state.ga.us.
