The Board of County Commissioners recently approved paving and installing water lines on 0.62 miles of Pitts Drive from SR 315 to the dead-end. The county approved a contract with EMC Engineering from Columbus to design the road and provide construction administration services. This road improvement project consists of road design, permitting, possible utility relocations, bidding, and construction and is expected to take about 250 days to complete. This project should be completed during the Spring of 2020. This project is estimated to cost $915,000 and will be funded by SPLOST-2014.
