Harris County government has implemented a digital citizen request management system called SeeClickFix to allow anyone to conveniently inform the County of non-emergency problems using an app or the county’s website. By downloading the free SeeClickFix app for Harris County, Georgia from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or going through the county’s website (www.harriscountyga.gov), anyone can submit requests regarding county road repairs, drainage issues, right-of-way mowing concerns, missing traffic signs, and applying for driveway permits with the ability to upload photographs and videos. Submissions will be automatically routed to the appropriate County department to be addressed and resolved.
Users can submit requests anonymously or register for an account to receive feedback. The County will be implementing more categories soon covering the areas of Solid Waste, Parks, Water Works, and Code Enforcement.
By using this digital citizen request management system, citizens will be able to easily communicate with their County government to inform them of specific problems. In turn, the County government will be able to respond more quickly to those problems and concerns thereby increasing productivity, efficiency, and transparency.
