County Services Affected by Cold Weather

Various county services are affected by extreme cold weather including solid waste pick-ups and public works crews due to the use of state inmates that cannot be released from the county prison for work when the temperatures are less than 28 degrees. Therefore, when temperatures are below 28 degrees, please be aware that these services may be delayed for several hours until outdoor temperatures are above 28 degrees. The county apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
