Harris County Airport Will Temporarily Close to Make Runway Improvements

The Harris County Airport (KPIM) will be temporarily closed to air traffic beginning 8:00 a.m. Monday, June 3 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 to remark and crack seal the runway. The county awarded a bid to Hasco, Inc. for $63,745.45 for this airport improvement project. This project will be funded by the Georgia Department of Transportation ($47,809.09) and county funding ($15,936.36). For more information, contact the airport at 706-663-2083.
