Harris County Prison has partnered with Columbus Technical College (CTC) to conduct a first ever carpentry training program for the prison inmates who have completed or are participating in the prison’s GED program also offered by CTC. A mobile trailer has been set up on the Prison grounds for this program and the program will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. All materials used in the program will be provided by CTC.
Harris County government greatly appreciates the efforts of CTC in assisting the county with this new program.
