Harris County, the Chamber of Commerce, and a contractor, SunSigns, will be installing large Man O’ War Trail signs on both sides of the railroad bridge over U.S. 27 in Pine Mountain near the main entrance of Callaway Gardens on Monday, Feb. 19. The installation will probably take most of the daylight hours and one lane of U.S. 27 will have to close periodically throughout the day using flaggers. U.S. 27 will not be closed, just one lane periodically. GDOT permits have been acquired and they have been notified. For more information, please contact the county offices at 706-628-4958.
