Motor Vehicle Special Hours in May

Harris County Tax Commissioner’s motor vehicle division will be unable to process transactions beginning at noon on May 23 and all day May 24. The office will also be closed on Memorial Day, May 27. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, May 28. This is due to a new state-of-the-art system being installed by The Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR). Beginning Tuesday, May 21, some online vehicle services may be reduced in preparation for the system upgrade.
