The county’s Parks & Recreation Department has made various improvements recently including the construction of a new pavilion/concession stand at the soccer complex, installation of ten new LED scoreboards at Pate and Moultrie Parks, replacement of about 65 burned-out light bulbs on the ballfields at Pate and Moultrie Parks, and replacement of backstop fencing at Pate and Moultrie Parks, among other park improvements. The Parks & Recreation Department is getting ready for its fall season and continues to improve parks and recreational programming for the citizens.
