RFP: PRISON INMATE HEALTH SERVICES

Harris County is accepting proposals for Inmate Health Services, to include medical, dental and vision, for the inmates at the Harris County Prison that has an average of 150 inmates/day. Proposal documents can be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael, County Clerk, via email at nmcmichael@harriscountyga.gov, using the subject line “RFP Inmate Health Services”. Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference & Site Tour will be held March 8, 2018, at 10:00AM. Proposal envelopes must be sealed and bear the notation “PROPOSAL: INMATE HEALTH SERVICES 2018”, be addressed to the attention of County Clerk, Harris County Board of Commissioners, 104 North College Street, PO Box 365, Hamilton, Georgia 31811-0365, and be received by 3:00 P.M., Monday, March 19, 2018, at which time only the names of the firms responding to the RFP will be publicly read aloud. It is the responsibility of the responders to assure their proposal arrives at the proper location by the time indicated. Facsimiles, e-mails, telephone or late proposals will not be accepted or considered. Responses received after the established deadline will be returned unopened to the proposer. Note that some express mail and delivery services do not guarantee overnight delivery to Harris County by a specific time. Harris County reserves the right to waive any requirement and/or specification included herein, to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, informalities, or any irregularities therein, and accept any proposal presented that in its judgment best serves the interest of the County.
