A new 2018 Freightliner/Pierce fire truck has been delivered to the Antioch Volunteer Fire Department. The new four-door, five-person fire truck has a 1,000-gallon poly tank, a 1,500-gallon per minute pump, and an assortment of hoses, equipment, and lights. The $313,525 fire truck was purchased using SPLOST-2014 funds and Antioch VFD funds. The new truck is a great addition to the VFD fleet and is scheduled to be operational during February 2018.
