Harris County is accepting qualifications from professional and qualified companies to provide planning, engineering, architectural, and construction administration services to the Harris County, Georgia, general aviation airport (PIM) and to assist in implementing its five-year capital improvement plan. The selection of an airport consultant is being conducted in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects and applicable Georgia laws. Interested firms must be prequalified by the Georgia Department of Transportation in Area Classes No. 1.08 Airport Master Planning and No. 2.09 Airport Design.
The RFQ specifications and instructions may be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael, County Clerk, at the Harris County Administration office, 104 N. College Street, Hamilton, GA by calling 706-628-4958 or via email at nmcmichael@harriscountyga.gov with subject line “AP Consulting Services”. Qualifications are due by or before 2:00 PM local time on Friday, February 7, 2020, at which time only the names of the firms will be publicly read. It is the responsibility of the responder to ensure that their response arrives at the proper location by the time indicated. Facsimile, e-mail, telephone or late responses will not be accepted or considered. Harris County reserves the right to reject any or all responses.
