State Route 103 to be Improved

State Route 103 in Northwest Harris County is scheduled to be improved with a new passing lane beginning at Progress Parkway and extending 1.4 miles north to Old West Point Road. Since this is a state route, the Georgia Department of Transportation is coordinating this project. The work is expected to begin during late 2017 starting with utility relocations then construction will begin and continue until the summer of 2018. McCoy Grading, Inc. was awarded this project with a bid of $2.9M using state funds.
