AMBULANCE BID REQUEST

Harris County is accepting bids for two (2) new 2019 Ambulances for its EMS Department. Bid documents may be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael, County Clerk, at nmcmichael@harriscountyga.gov with the subject line “Ambulance Bid”. Deadline for questions related to bid is Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 4:00 PM. Bid envelope must contain one (1) original proposal and one (1) complete photocopied set, be sealed, bear the name of the bidding company, bear the notation “BID: AMBULANCE 2019”, be to the attention of County Clerk, and be received at Harris County Commissioners, 104 North College Street, PO Box 365, Hamilton, Georgia 31811-0365, by 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the responsibility of the bidders to assure their bid arrives at the proper location by the time indicated. Facsimiles, e-mails, telephone or late bids will not be accepted or considered. Responses received after the established deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. Note that some express mail and delivery services do not guarantee overnight delivery to Harris County by a specific time. Harris County reserves the right to waive any requirement and/or specification, to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or any irregularities therein, and accept any bid that in its judgment best serves the County’s interest and does not in any way obligate itself to award to the lowest bidder. Failure to deliver vehicles within date specified on bid form will result in liquidated damages of $100/day/vehicle.
