County to Construct New Water Works Administration Building

The Board of County Commissioners, during their June 7, 2022 commission meeting, approved the construction of a new Water Works Administration Building to be located adjacent to the current facility on 958 Grant Road in Cataula. Headley Construction from Newnan, Georgia submitted the low bid of $1,749,000. The new facility will consist of various office space, conference room, file storage, walk-up customer service payment windows, drive-through payment window, ample parking, and space for future growth. The old facility will be used as storage. This project will be funded by the Water Works Fund and is scheduled to be completed during March 2023.
