The county is preparing to resurface two county roads (8.2 miles) including:
- 3.7 miles of Barnes Mill Road from the Hamilton city limits to the east side of the county’s solid waste facility entrance.
- 4.5 miles of Lower Blue Springs Road from SR 116 to Hamilton Mulberry Grove Road.
Robinson Paving was the low bidder at $1,021,490.30. These two roads will be resurfaced using $766,947.96 from state Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) funds and $254,542.34 from county SPLOST 2014 funds.
