Hardage Road Paving Update

The Hardage Road paving project is well underway with Robinson Paving clearing the roadway in anticipation of paving. The Board of County Commissioners approved paving Hardage Road from Lower Blue Springs Road to C.T. Walker Road, a distance of 0.61 miles. The county’s Water Works Department will also install a water line to serve the area with water service and fire protection. This road improvement project will have a total cost of about $776,091 with $716,091 allocated from SPLOST-2009 for paving and $60,000 allocated from SPLOST-2014 for the installation of the water line and fire hydrants.  The entire project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
