Harris County government welcomes new Information Technology Manager, Alex, Santiago. Mr. Santiago has worked for IHS Computers in Columbus since 2013 and was assigned by that company to Harris County for several years working as in independent contractor maintaining the county’s computer networks. Mr. Santiago possesses over 17 years of extensive experience in the IT career field, has earned numerous IT certifications, and has six years of military service. Mr. Santiago will be responsible for maintaining the county’s computer networks, servers, internet connections, network security, setting up new computers and other network electronics, providing employee training, and implementing special technology projects such as the new 911 next generation system. Mr. Santiago will be a great asset to the Harris County management team.
