The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced that a portion of Fortson Road from SR 315 to the Muscogee County line will be closed to through traffic beginning early January 2020 and until June 2020 to replace the bridge over Standing Boy Creek. This project is being performed by GDOT’s contractor, Baldwin Paving, Inc., and a route detour has been prepared.
