The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)has announced that a portion of Fortune Hole Road from U.S. 27 to Winfree Road will be closed to through traffic beginning early March 2019 until July 2019 to replace the bridge over Palmetto Creek. This project is being performed by GDOT’s contractor, C.W. Matthews Contracting, Inc., and a route detour has been prepared. See attachment for detour map.
