The Harris County Board of Commissioners recently approved the construction of a 72-foot high observation tower at Ellerslie Park. Batson-Cook Construction of West Point, GA, the low bidder at $700,000, will construct the tower. This project is being funded by a public-private partnership between the Loudermilk Family Christian Foundation, Inc. and the County. The tower is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
